Weekend in Nuremberg

This past weekend we spent our time visiting with a good friend of mine that lives in Nuremberg, Germany and the weather couldn’t have been better. We strolled around the town and enjoyed all the goodness that the city has to offer. Nuremberg is considered the second largest city in Bavaria, with Munich coming in at first. It also makes the list for one of the top 15 largest cities in Germany.

For lunch we stopped and ate at B. Good which I love because they have an amazing wholesome menu that includes a few vegan options, too. This restaurant chain is also located in the states so if you’re living abroad and are looking for something a little like home, you should definitely give this place a try.

After lunch we walked around downtown and visited the grounds of the old Nuremberg Castle. I loved seeing all the locals that came out to sit around the castle to just chat and eat while soaking up the beautiful weather.

As the evening went on we slowly found our way to Cafe and Bar Celona downtown. Their menu is filled with a variety of items, including the most amazing drinks and desserts you could ever ask for. There’s no better way to spend your time than sitting outside on a gorgeous day while enjoying the company of good friends and family.
